-One thing a teacher should do is decorate the classroom with students’ work. Set up the classroom with as much as possible as the learning environment will be more comfortable for the students. The more work that is put up, the more motivation the students will get to make more, and to work productively.
-Introduction to class-
The class always opens with a morning message. A morning message is a statement from a teacher, written to the students about the upcoming day’s events. The morning message is also a replacement for worksheets. It is a way that students will not feel overwhelmed with having to do a worksheet, but still be tested mentally.
Thinking of different ways for the students to line up when leaving the classroom is a lot of fun and motivating for students as well! It stretches the children’s creativity levels. Some great ideas for line-ups could be:
-By age
-Boys or Girls
-Birthday
-Height
-Name

Students should have an opportunity to engage in the writing process, which includes planning and revising across multiple drafts.
Students should write for authentic audiences and purposes, exercising some choice over their topics, as relevant.
Students should be given opportunities to collaborate with others (teacher or peers), incorporate feedback, and reflect upon their work.
Students should have a chance to write frequently and regularly.
Students should know in advance the criteria that will be used to assess their writing.
